Our Programs

At Global Impact with Mission Ministries Foundation (GIMMF), our mission in Calgary is simple: empower newcomers, uplift youth, families, and seniors in need, and build thriving, inclusive communities.

We believe every newcomer deserves a strong start and every young person and senior deserves a chance to thrive. Our programs empower recent immigrants and refugee families through settlement services, digital literacy, education sponsorship, employment readiness, food security, cultural integration, and youth engagement.

Together, these initiatives foster independence, resilience, and meaningful community connections.

Every child deserves the tools to succeed.

This program ensures every child has access to quality education by covering tuition, uniforms, and learning materials. Students also receive daily nutritious meals and hygiene packs, including reusable sanitary kits for girls. Monthly parent-teacher forums and home visits promote consistent attendance and family engagement. Perfect Attendance awards encourage children to stay motivated and succeed academically.

Economic Empowerment Program (EEP)

EEP brings women and men together in Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to save, learn, and grow:

EEP brings together women and men in Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to save money, access low-interest loans, and start small businesses. Participants learn business planning, bookkeeping, and climate-smart agriculture, while receiving livestock and farm inputs to improve food security. The top-performing groups receive seed funding for promising ventures, supported by ongoing mentorship and field officer visits.

Health Care Program (HCP)

Health is the foundation for thriving communities.

GIMMF provides annual health cards (Mutuelle de SantΓ©), free or subsidized clinic consultations, and year-round access to essential medications. Expectant and new mothers benefit from maternal support, nutrition counseling, and follow-up care. Monthly menstrual hygiene kits and workshops for 1,000 schoolgirls promote dignity, health, and school attendance. Community health education sessions further strengthen family well-being. GIMMF provides essential health services to vulnerable families:
